Manufacturers
Manufacturer pages in Lab Instrument Index are not company profiles or product catalogs. They help readers understand how a manufacturer’s instrument families, software, consumables, documentation, and support arrangements connect to an existing laboratory workflow.
Start with the equipment question
Section titled “Start with the equipment question”Begin with the relevant equipment guide before using a manufacturer page. The analytical question, sample, method, and laboratory constraints should shape the shortlist; a manufacturer page then helps identify ecosystem questions that may matter during a new purchase, replacement, or method transfer.
- Agilent — connects to the current HPLC, LC-MS, and UV-Vis guides.
- Waters — connects to the current HPLC and LC-MS guides.
- Eppendorf — connects to the current centrifuge guide and its rotor/accessory ecosystem.
- Thermo Fisher Scientific — connects across all four current equipment areas and their software or accessory ecosystems.
- Shimadzu — connects HPLC, LC-MS, and UV-Vis through instrument, accessory, and data-workflow questions.
What these pages do and do not cover
Section titled “What these pages do and do not cover”They describe durable relationships between an instrument family and its surrounding workflow. They do not rank manufacturers, list every current product, state prices or service availability, or replace the current official documentation for a specific instrument.
For any real selection, confirm the current configuration, compatibility, support terms, and local availability directly with the relevant manufacturer or authorized provider.
