Its current Chromeleon documentation describes control and data handling across chromatography and supported mass-spectrometry configurations. Support depends on the exact instrument, driver, license, and software release, so a broad multi-vendor statement is not a compatibility guarantee. The centrifuge relationship is different. Here, the configuration chain runs from the sample vessel to the adapter, bucket or rotor, centrifuge, and operating limit. Thermo Fisher’s rotor-selection guidance allows selection in either direction—from a centrifuge to compatible rotors or from a required rotor to compatible instruments—which illustrates why the rotor should be shortlisted with the instrument rather than after it. - Which existing instruments, columns, rotors, vessels, accessories, methods, and software versions must remain usable?
- Does the proposed software release support every required instrument and data workflow, including third-party systems?
- What utilities, gases, ventilation, bench or floor space, and service access does the complete configuration require?
- Which qualification, validation, training, maintenance, and support arrangements are available for the laboratory’s location and intended use?
